Final thoughts
The first public Freeform Scattering Optics programme meeting was held on 1 November 2021 in Enschede (NL) with great success. The PhD students presented their research, which was followed by lively discussion with the other participants. We are very proud of what they have achieved, especially if you take into account the difficulties they experienced because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The collaboration between the consortium partners is a driving force for the scientific output and the solutions for the challenges that the industry users encounter. The poster sessions and demonstration offered the opportunity for in depth exchange of ideas. We are delighted that NTS Optel, Mitutoyo, Inphocal and Anteryon were following our meeting either live or online. Broadening our base, receiving more input from industry will benefit the programme.
We uploaded all the presentations of the meeting. If you have any questions concerning the content, please contact us by sending an e-mail to: ffso-meeting@utwente.nl and we will get back to you.
