Alfredo Rates successfully defended his PhD thesis

On 10 October 2023, COPS PhD candidate Alfredo Rates successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Transparency, Secrecy, and Profiling using Mutual Scattering in Complex Media” under the supervision and co-supervision of prof. dr. Willem Vos and prof. dr. Ad Lagendijk, respectively, and obtained the doctoral degree.

The doctoral committee consisted of prof. dr. M. Fink from ESPCI Paris, prof. dr. A.P. Mosk from Universiteit Utrecht, dr. ing. F. Zijp from ASML Veldhoven, prof. dr. ir. W.G. van der Wiel from Universiteit Twente, and prof. dr. ir. I. M. Vellekoop from Universiteit Twente.
